Ski resort Zverovka - Spálená

Ski Resort Rohace - Spalena located in Zuberec can be found in the Orava region in northern Slovakia. The ski area offers optimal conditions for all skiers and snowboarders.

Shorter lifts (400 m and 850 m) are designed for beginners and children, 1490 m long chair lift will satisfy even very demanding winter sports enthusiasts. Two ski lifts long 250 and 400 m starts from the centre of the complex. More advanced skiers can use the longer lift which takes them to the higher part with chairlift.

Top station is situated at an altitude of 1460 m. In the lower third of the ski area, one branch designed for demanding skiers departs from the ski run. At the top of the slopes there is another ski lift 850 m long. Except the black trail, all the ski slopes are daily groomed after opening hours with snow mechanisms.

During the ski season 2018/2019, you can use the services of a newly-built complex of services in the ski resort with a pleasant restaurant area overlooking Rohace.

From the 2014/2015 winter season the Ski resort Rohace features a new six-seated chairlift:

• covered bubble - heated – get in / entrance area
• length: 2000 m
• elevation 465 m
• transport capacity of 2400 persons / hour.
• transit time: from the valley station to upper station for 6.50 min.
• bottom station of 1036 metres AMSL
• top station: 1501 metres AMSL
