Hurricane Factory Tatralandia

Hurricane Factory Tatralandia is the only wind tunnel in Slovakia and in the wider surroundings. It is a place where you can try what it is like to fly and hover.

Making the same conditions as the free fall, the air is flowing at a rate up to about 270 km per hour in glass flight chamber with a diameter of 4.3 metres and a total height of 14 meters of tunnel.

But you're flying at a safe height and under the constant supervision of an experienced instructor. Flying in the tunnel is suitable for all physically healthy persons aged from 5 years. There is no need for previous experience or special preparation.

HOW IT WORKS?

1. Register at the reception
2. You will undergo a short training where you will be familiar with what to expect and you will learn the basic principles of flying in the tunnel (basic attitude, signals to communicate with an ...).
3. We lend you protective clothing: overalls, goggles, helmet, (the client will bring only comfortable T-shirt under a suit lacing shoes.)
4. You will go to the air chamber, where you are always with professional instructors to help you enter the air stream and teaches you how to control your body during the flight.
5. After you have completed the first flight you acquire certificate and on request we can make a video recording or photo of this unique experience.
