Meander Thermal Park Oravice

Meander Oravice Thermal Park is situated in the north of Slovakia in the Orava region on the north-western outskirts of the Western Tatras. It is located 6 km from the centre of the village Vitanova and 13 km from the Polish border.

Water Park, where you can enjoy swimming pools with natural thermal water is open all year. Highly mineralized water rises from a depth of 1,611 meters. Vacationers can anytime of the year till late hours dive in sulphurous-calcium-magnesium water with high iron content. From swimming pools as well as from all over the swimming pool, it is a beautiful view of the most beautiful peaks of the Western Tatras - Roháče mountain ranges.

Sports and relaxation pool offers a place for sports-minded visitors who can swim here, while the second part of the pool with water attractions is reserved for relaxing. Artificial waves in thermal pool are great water attraction in this thermal resort. Other water attractions of the relaxation part include the massage jets, massage benches and water mushroom. The length of the swimming pool has a length of 25 meters.

The aquapark complex naturally includes a children's pool with a water mushroom and two children's slides. You will especially appreciate the connection between some outdoor and indoor pools in bad weather. The indoor section also features bubble pools and a cooling pool. Several dining facilities are part of the aquapark area, including Bistro, Aquapark Café, and Thermal Café. Within the resort itself, you will also find the Meander Restaurant, the Bistro near the cable car, the Apres Ski Bar, and the Bistro Gruň.

Meander Thermal & Ski Resort is exceptional not only for its geothermal water but also because the aquapark is just 50 meters away from the ski park. Guests can enjoy excellent skiing or snowboarding on perfectly groomed slopes spanning over 12 km and then relax in the thermal aquapark right after.

Guests can also take advantage of modern accommodation, a bike park during the summer season, an MTB mountain bike rental, a MontainCart tricycle rental, and, during the winter season, a ski equipment rental, ski service, and even a ski school.
