Wooden church in Svaty Kriz
Approximately 14 km from Liptovsky Mikulas in the village of Svätý Kríž is a wooden articular evangelical church, which is one of the largest wooden buildings in Central Europe. The church was originally built in Paludzi. The relocation began in 1974 and the ceremonial celebration of the reconstructed church was on 22 August 1982. The church is the last, undoubtedly the most significant artistic expression of Slovak wooden ecclesiastical architecture.

HAVRÁNOK
Havránok is an important archaeological site in northern Slovakia. It is located on a hill above the Liptovská Mara water reservoir around 2 km from the village of Bobrovník, about halfway between Ružomberok and Liptovský Mikuláš in the Liptov region. The archaeologists unearthed a prehistoric Celtic hill fort and a medieval wooden castle in the 1960s, during the construction of the Liptovská Mara dam. Both objects have been partially reconstructed. During the Iron Age and the Roman Era, the shrine of Havránok was an important religious center of the Celts living in Slovakia.

Hrádocké Arborétum
Hrádok Arboretum is located in the cadastral area of Liptovský Hrádok at an altitude of 650 m directly in the northern part of the city surrounded by housing estates. Despite its small size, the Hrádek Arboretum is currently unique in Europe. It is the highest situated arboretum in Central Europe and contains the fourth largest dendrological collections in Slovakia. The arboretum contains unique taxa from our and world dendroflora, which are listed in the Red Books of several states, and which are on the northern edge of their natural range within Europe.
