Spa Smrdáky is 80 km northwest of the capital of Slovakia - Bratislava. The medical resort specializes mainly in treatment of skin diseases combined with diseases of musculoskeletal system using the unique natural sources - sulphurous mud and hydrogen sulphide mineral water, what you cannot find anywhere else in the world. It contains up to 680 mg hydrogen sulfide per litre and it is used to recover the body and helps in treating not only skin diseases.

Hydrogen sulphide mineral water with high content of therapeutically effective hydrogen sulphide is characterized by a characteristic odour and unusual effects in the treatment of some, particularly skin diseases. It contains the minerals and salts - in particular on the basis of Na, Mg, and Ca (3,400 mg / l), which positively contributes to the therapeutic effect.

Sulphur mud is a peloid using as a health aid in the form of packs for joints and backbone. It is created by flowing hydrogen sulphide water through loessial soils. Spa Smrdáky is a good place for the treatment of chronic skin diseases.
