The Smolenice Castle (Smolenický zámok) is a castle in the eastern slope of the Little Carpathians, near the town of Smolenice in Slovakia. The castle was build up in the half of 15th century, but it was destroyed during the Rakoci's uprising and Napoleanic wars. In 1777 the count Jan Palffy from Pezinok inherited the entire Smolenice but did not reside in the castle due to its poor condition and lack of money for rebuilding it. The castle was only rebuilt up in the 20th century, by order of the count Jozef Palffy. The main building has two wings and a tower, and is made of ferroconcrete....

Pezinok Castle is a Renaissance castle on the outskirts of the city in the park, originally a medieval residence with fortifications using water sources - a water castle. It is located at the southeastern foot of the Little Carpathians, in the town of Pezinok. Already before 1271, they built a castle in Pezinok, which, like the other castles in the area, was attacked by the troops of Přemysl Otakar II. Hlohovec Castle is the most important historical monument of the town Hlohovec. It is located south of Hlohovec, on the edge of a large tree park with french terraces. The original medieval castle was built in the 11th century. In 1275 King Ladislav IV. donated the castle to the first feudal owner of the Abovcov family. Since then, with little breaks, it belonged with the surrounding lands until 1945 to a powerful feudal family. The Hlohovske castle housed the families Ujlaki, Turzovcov, Forgáčov...

The Beckov castle was built in the 12th century as a part of border fortification of Hungarian Empire. The castle flourished in the 14 - 15th century, later became shabby. The historical and archaeological research was carried out in the 70s of the 20th century. After the reconstruction in 1996 the ruins of the castle were strengthened and open for the public. Open: May-October, Tuesday-Sunday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
