Ski resort KAVEČANY
Sport and recreation Kavečany resort is located 6 km from the centre of Kosice, at an altitude of 420-600 meters above sea level. The ski season lasts from mid-December until the end of March. The resort offers 5 ski trails with a length of 2.95 kilometres. For skiers there are 9 lifts with a capacity of 7432 persons per hour. The slopes are artificially snowed and daily maintained.
