Bobskleigh track Košice-Kavečany

Summer bobsleigh run in Kavecany near Kosice was the first attraction of its kind built in Slovakia. It is a sports and recreation facility for children and adults. The bobsled track is 800 meters long and a top speed of 50-60 kilometres per hour. It features 9 extreme bends. The track is passing through 3 terrain faults and 3 tunnels. Its average height inclination is 28 percent.

The track is located above the parking lot in front of the entrance to the Zoo Kavečany. The bobsled run is accessible by public transportation with bus no. 29. Children under the age of 6 years is allowed ride only when accompanied by the elderly. Truck capacity is two persons.
