Pedal Planet in Nová Polianka is one of the largest private collections of pedal cars in Europe. More than 110 exhibits from the total of 300 pieces are divided into six main groups in the Tatra Gallery. The gallery can be found in the High Tatras in Nová Polianka, between the tourist resorts of Starý Smokovec and Štrbské Pleso. Unique cars are divided by country of origin. Tatranská Lomnica (region: High Tatras)

It informs the visitors about the character of the Tatra nature, about its protection and about the history of the Tatras being made accessible to the public. It belongs among the most visited museums of its kind in Slovakia – nearly 50 000 visitors every year. The exhibition part of the museum is separated to natural historical, natural protection, historical and ethnographical section. Pribylina (area: Račková Walley, region: Liptov)

The Považská Forest Railway was established in 1912 for the transport of harvested timber, the transport of which was mostly carried out at that time by rafting on the river. However, navigating was not sufficient, especially as demand for long logs increased.  The Hungarian State Forestry Office in Liptovský Hrádok therefore proceeded to build a forest narrow-gauge railway.
