The Jasná Low Tatras resort is ranked in the highest category of centres of tourism with international importance and among the Slovak centres of tourism it holds the first rank. It is situated in beautiful mountainous surroundings, on northern and southern slopes of Chopok, in the Low Tatras National Park.
The Jasná Low Tatras ski resort is the largest resort with the best natural conditions for skiing in Slovakia.
Those keen on snowboarding, ski-alpining, freeride and track skiing will surely find what they are looking for. The resort offers a lot of fun by means of sport&fun attractions - ski fox, snow scoot, snow bike, kite wing, paragliding, climbing park, paintball or a trip for a night sledging, but also quality supplementary services – ski and snowboard school, kindergarten, rentals, service, depositories, sport shops covered by NTC sport.
The winter season lasts from the beginning of December till the end of April.
One of the largest and most popular winter sport resorts is situated 15 km from Liptovský Mikuláš and is part of Low Tatras National Park. If offers great terrains for skiing and a number of track ski slopes with various difficulty levels. For the lovers of snowboarding a U-ramp is created. The resort offers 13 ski slopes with total length of 21 km, ski track for the beginners with length of 5 km, a recreational ski track with length of 10 km and a tourist ski track with length of 15 km.
