Forest Arboretum Kysihýbel near Banská Štiavnica was founded in the early twentieth century, on account of research on introduction and cultivation of exotic forest trees. Arboretum Mlynany
The arboretum Mlyňany is an always green park - a botanical garden in the neighbourhood of Zlaté Moravce, in the cadaster of villages Tesárske Mlyňany and Vieska nad Žitavou. It keeps the biggest collection of wood species in Slovakia. The arboretum was established in the year 1892 by the Ugrian lord Dr.Štefan Ambrózy-Migazzi. Botanical Garden of Pavol J. Safarik University in Kosice is located in the north-western part of the Kosice Basin in site Bankov. It was founded in 1950 and now covers an area of 30 ha. The garden features a greenhouses warm exposure on an area of 3500 m2 with tropical and subtropical vegetation, and an area of 4 ha with exposure of decorative flora. Botanical Garden - Exposition Of Tatra Nature
Botanical garden is situated on the northern-eastern boundary of Tatranská Lomnica in High Tatras, next to the Hotel Sorea Titris. It is located on the territory of 3,2 ha. Hrádocké Arborétum
Hrádok Arboretum is located in the cadastral area of Liptovský Hrádok at an altitude of 650 m directly in the northern part of the city surrounded by housing estates. Despite its small size, the Hrádek Arboretum is currently unique in Europe. It is the highest situated arboretum in Central Europe and contains the fourth largest dendrological collections in Slovakia. Kláštorská roklina gorge
The Kláštorská gorge was created by a stream that springs near the Kláštorisko and flows into the Hornád river. It was opened for tourists in 1958, when a bridge was built over the Hornád gap, leading to the mouth of the gorge. From there, tourists can ascend to Kláštorisko, where the other end of the gorge is. During the hike through the gorge, visitors will be captivated by a number of waterfalls, unspoilt nature. Kostolecká Gorge
Kostolecká Gorge is located near the town of Považská Bystrica in the Súľov Mountains near the northern edge of the Strážovské Hills. This strait, lined with rock walls, was created by water erosion by the Manínský brook into the limestone bar. Under the rock walls a large area of triangular shape was created, filled with talus cones on the top with a large rock overhang, the walls of which are formed by streaked limestones.
