The Parish Church of St. Bartholomew the Apostle is located in the town of Prievidza, on Pribina Square. It is originally a Gothic building from the late 14th century, which was modified and expanded in the 17th century. The parish in Prievidza was established at the beginning of the 13th century. In 1321, the castle parish ceased to exist, and shortly thereafter the construction of a new – city – parish and parish church began. Over the years, the church underwent various changes.
