Bio Natural swimming pool Snina
One of the newest tourist attractions in Snina, new natural swimming-pool was built in 2010 in the recreational area Snina ponds, by reconstruction of the original 3 pools. Filtration of water takes place in the biological zone by water plants. Pool has a capacity of 1200 persons; while up to 560 guests can swim at the same time. Domaša is a dam situated in the mountains surrounding The Low Beskids, in the north of the town Vranov nad Topľou, in Eastern Slovakia. Čičva Castla Ruins stand on a hill in Ondavská Highlands above the village Sedliská. The castle was built in the 14th century and became a guard fortress at the "Polish Gate". Miniatures of wooden churches
An interesting tourist attraction of the village of Ulič, one of the easternmost villages in Slovakia, is the mini-open-air museum of miniatures of wooden churches. You will find an open-air museum in the environment of a public park. Wooden churches are an integral part of the national cultural heritage. Miniatures are made of oak and pine wood in a scale of 1:10. Among the miniatures are models of churches from Rusky Potok, Topola, or the village of Uličské Krivé. MORSKÉ OKO LAKE
Morské oko (called Veľké Vihorlatské jazero in the past; literally Sea Eye) is a lake in the Vihorlat Mountains in east Slovakia. It is at 618 m, covers 0.13 km² with a maximum depth of 25.1 m. Renaissance castle in Humenne
The manor house, the dominant feature of the town of Humenné, was built on the site of a medieval water castle, a simple tower-shaped building surrounded by a moat. Slovak opal mines
Slovak opal mines can be found in eastern Slovakia on the territory of Slanské vrchy. They are situated 20 km southeast of Prešov, between the villages of Červenica and Zlatá Baňa.
