A1-START Tourist hostel

The A1 Štart hostel in Starý Smokovec, operated by the Slovak Sled Association, provides pleasant accommodation and can satisfy even the most demanding clients.

The hostel is luxuriously furnished, it has single, double and quadruple rooms with private bathroom with shower and toilet. For guests there is a fully equipped shared kitchen, living room with TV and in the whole building there is access to wireless WiFi internet connection. In the basement there is a gym and outside you will find a gazebo with barbecue, with the opportunity to sit in the fresh and healthy Tatra air.

The hostel has a unique attraction, the only building of its kind in Central Europe - a toboggan starting trainer. Visitors have the opportunity to try it throughout the year - in summer on a sleigh and in winter on an ice rink.

The hostel has an excellent location, located a short distance from the center of Starý Smokovec, where all the surrounding services are concentrated: food, catering facilities, Tatra electric railway stop, cable car to Hrebienok, starting points for hiking trails and a ski slope.
