Castle SMOLENICE

Smolenice Castle is located in the village of Smolenice, at the foot of the Small Carpathians, approx. 60 km northwest of Bratislava and 18 km from Trnava. The castle belongs to the Slovak Academy of Sciences and serves as purpose-built accommodation facilities and the SAS Congress Center. The premises of the castle can be used for conferences, symposia, professional seminars and other educational events.

Despite the fact that the premises in the castle are primarily used for SAV events, currently available accommodation capacity is also rented out to the public. The castle also includes a dining room, where food is served for the guests staying.

The total accommodation capacity of the SAS Congress Center is 92 beds and another 12 extra beds. Single to quadruple rooms as well as apartments are available.

• Single rooms are located in the part of the entrance towers of the castle.
• Double rooms are located in every part of the castle. Some of the rooms have the option of an extra bed.
• Triple rooms are located in the main part of the castle as well as in the right part from the entrance to the castle. Some of the rooms have the option of an extra bed.
• Quadruple rooms are located in the right part of the entrance to the castle. One room has the option of an extra bed. One room has a bathroom in the hallway.
• The apartments are located in different parts of the castle. Most of the apartments have two beds, one apartment has four beds. Some of the apartments have the option of an extra bed.
