Cottage M. R. Štefánik is located in the Low Tatras below Ďumbier. It was built in 1928. It is situated on the southern side of the hill, near the deepest caves in Slovakia - the Cave of the "Dead Bats" (Jaskyna Mrtvych Netopierov) - which is accessible for tourists.

There are six eight-beded rooms in the cottage. In addition to accommodation, the cottage also offers boarding. Guests can eat half board or full board.

The materials and the goods for the operation of the cottage is carried by the carrier, with about a 40000 kg per year.
