The wine producers offer also a wide range of services nowadays, however, our company can, thanks to its surroundings, offer also something special next to quality wines: As the only mountain vineyard in Slovakia, our company has a possibility to welcome our visitors in original mountainous surroundings of Modra-Harmónia. The company´s seat is surrounded by acacia forest and by its vineyards. Except quality wine tasting, the visitors can feel the atmosphere and air of mountainous surroundings during the visit of the vineyards in which the vines from which we produce our wines are grown. During the visit, the visitor will be informed about the way of vine growing. Another attraction is exhibition of our agricultural veterans. Those, who will want to see something more, can continue on the tourist road to the nearby observation tower situated on the Veľká Homola hill or they can visit the Red Rock castle.
The company Ján Paták - Víno Harmonia was established by Ján Paták, Jr. who is the youngest continuator of the family that has been dealing with vine growing and wine production already for the fourth generation.
With its production capacity the company is ranked among small producers what makes it possible to the producer to focus on quality of the produced wines. The company has its seat in the lap of the Small Carpathians, above the famous vine growing town of Modra, in the mountainous surroundings of Harmónia, surrounded by acacia forest and vineyards. Thanks to its location, it is the only mountainous wine production company in Slovakia. In this region (the Small Carpathian wine production region, Modra vineyard region) we work in our vineyards. The company focuses particularly on production of quality variety and attributive wines, while its main varieties are Pinot Blanc, Green Sylvan, Blaunfränkisch and Saint Laurent.
