Pension Tomino can be found in the center of Banská Štiavnica right next to the Botanical Garden, surrounded by the ancient streets of the historic town.

For guests, double rooms and double-bed apartments are available in the guesthouse, each accommodation unit is able to add extra beds. Room amenities includes a shower, a toilet, a TV with Slovak programs and WiFi internet access. The apartments consists of a living room and a bedroom, also has a refrigerator.

Guests can use a shared kitchen to prepare their own meals. Its amenities includes a microwave, a double-sink, a kettle and a coffee maker. Grill is available in the garden with seating.

Bývali sme v apartmáne,cítili sme sa ako doma úplne komfortne, super zariadené až luxusné, aj chladnička bola v apartmáne čo nám vyhovovalo. Recepčná,majiteľka veľmi milá sympatická vo všetkom nám poradila kde ísť v Štiavnici pozrieť. A topka v penzióne bola záhrada, nádherná. Už máme znovu rezervovaný pobyt na Salamandre dni, a len do tohto penziónu sa budeme vracať.

Veľmi pekný penzión v centre Štiavnice . Izba pekná čistá, na izbe veľký LCD televízor, v kuchynke ktorá je v penzióne sme si aj niečo ukuchtili a kávičku sme pili na veľmi peknej záhrade plnej kvetov.Môžem tento penzión len odporučiť, v lete zas prídeme

+ k dispozícii spoločná kuchynka (s riadom)
+ menšia záhrada s 1. stôl + 2 lavičky pod dáždnikom, 2. stôl + 2 lavičky pod holým nebom / vhodné napr. na raňajky na čerstvom vzduchu

* stav k 10.5.2015), strávil som tam 1 noc
1) všeobecné:
- objekt je také menšie bludisko (je to rekonštruovaný starý dom)
- na recepciu a do izieb sa dá len po schodoch, ale nie je to nič náročné
- pre penzión sú vyhradené 2 parkovacie miesta = komu sa neujde, musí si zaplatiť 5€/deň (počíta sa do 12-tej nasledujúceho dňa) na neďalekom súkromnom non-stop parkovisku
- penzión sa nachádza na celkom rušnej ulici (izby orientované na cestu si užijú dopravný ruch , pričom dlaždice v centre sú výrazne hlučnejšie pri prejazde áut ako bežná asfaltová cesta)
- v spoločnej kuchynke starší riad (rôzneho dátumu výroby, čo sa doma rokmi nazbieralo)
- strava len vlastná (v spoločnej kuchynke), alebo zbehnúť do nejakej reštaurácie

2) izba č. 2:
- dispozične nezaujme (zrejme nešlo urobiť zázrak zo starým domom)
- rekonštrukcia staršieho dáta
- kúpeľňa mierne stiesnená, sprchový kút OK, na WC som zvládol sedieť mierne šikmo, stena nedovolila sadnúť si priamo
- teplá voda v sprche a umývadle ráno nešla (zrejme spotrebovali ostatní hostia), takže šla len vlažná, neskôr už šla teplá
- WC odtok tieklo
- menší CRT TV + DVB-T prijímač len s programami voľného multiplexu (STV1,2, Doma, Markíza, JOJ, JOJ+, TA3) = nevhodné pre TV závislých ;-), v DO k DVB-T slabé batérie, DO k TV nebol (treba zapnúť a vypnúť ručne)
- hneď vedľa je študentská krčma, a hudba sa celkom cez steny prenášala (inštrukcie ako kontaktovať mestskú políciu boli k dispozícii na izbe pre prípad že by boli hluční po 22:00)
- kvôli fajčiarom na terase krčmy sa prakticky nedá otvoriť okno a vyvetrať

- mal som pocit že cieľ majiteľa je zarobiť maximum za najnižšie investície (na úkor kvality)
= ale splnilo účel :-), bolo kde prespať
