Originally Gothic castle built on the break of the 14th and 15th centuries. Tokoli family owned the castle for a long time. It burnt out in 1787. Basilica of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin on Marianska hora in Levoca is one of the oldest places of pilgrimage in eastern Slovakia. The pilgrimage takes place here every year on July 2.
