The town of Sklené Teplice lies in the north-western part of Štiavnické hills, in the valley of the Teplá stream, in the Žiar nad Hronom region, in the Banskobystrický district. On the territory of the village there are thermal springs welling forth with the temperature of the water 28-53°C. The alkaline-plaster mineral springs with cave bath were famous already in the 16th century. The Sklené Teplice thermal swimming pool is part of the spa. Diseases of the locomotive organs and nervous diseases are cured here. One can find here a swimming pool, a pool with mineral water, children pool.
