Wooden rafts on Vah in Strecno

A cruise on the river Váh will introduce you to a number of cultural, historical, natural and technical attractions, which provides seven kilometers of navigable section of the surroundings of Strečno. You will be informed about interesting facts in the expert commentary by the boat leaders - sailors in folk costumes. Beginning of rafting is at Pltisku Barierova, 7 km from Strečno - direction Martin. An interesting complementary program is available to diversify and make rafting more pleasant.

The rafting season is from 1 April to 31 October and there are 10 rafts available, each with a capacity of 12 persons. The cruise time takes approximately 50-75 minutes. The minimum age of children is 3 years and children under 10 years have mandatory life jackets. Parking is located on the main road, about 150 meters from the pltisko.
