Originally Gothic castle built on the break of the 14th and 15th centuries. Tokoli family owned the castle for a long time. It burnt out in 1787. The Kláštorská gorge was created by a stream that springs near the Kláštorisko and flows into the Hornád river. It was opened for tourists in 1958, when a bridge was built over the Hornád gap, leading to the mouth of the gorge.
