The SENTINEL Adventure Center was created by the reconstruction of the Mining Museum in Rožňava in 2015-2017. Sentinel includes the following objects: Gemer Mining and Metallurgy Exposition, Steam Time at the Mining Museum, Mining Workplaces, Nature Exposition of the Slovak Karst and Adjacent Areas, and a courtyard where mining mechanisms and mobile mining railways are located. The modern and partly interactive Gemer Mining and Metallurgical Exhibition maps the history of Gemer mining and metallurgy from prehistoric times to the present.
