Botanical Garden Košice
Botanical Garden of Pavol J. Safarik University in Kosice is located in the north-western part of the Kosice Basin in site Bankov. It was founded in 1950 and now covers an area of 30 ha. The garden features a greenhouses warm exposure on an area of 3500 m2 with tropical and subtropical vegetation, and an area of 4 ha with exposure of decorative flora. This exposure (2 ha) includes also Ecologicall educational area. We invite you to a tour of the water mill museum, which belonged to the Andrássy family from Krásná Hôrka with the original original equipment, where you will not only learn, but also see how flour was sometimes made.
