Pension and Restaurant MODRA RYBA

Pension Modrá Ryba with a beautiful view of the Danube River and the Basilica is located in the village of Chľaba, in the Kováčov district, in the Kováčovské hills, near the town of Štúrovo. The Vadaš thermal resort is only 11 km away from the guesthouse, which is about 14 minutes by car. In the guesthouse, you can choose from 2-bed to 4-bed rooms, or organize a celebration, wedding or corporate event here.

We accommodate a maximum of 26 guests in our guesthouse all year round. A wonderful view of the monumental Basilica, the Danube and picturesque mountains awaits you in each of the rooms.

Pension Modrá Ryba has the following rooms at your disposal:

• four 2-bed Superior rooms with a double bed and an extra bed,
• two 3-bed Standard rooms with three separate beds,
• two 4-bed DeLuxe rooms with a double bed and a sofa bed.

The rooms are comfortably equipped and are located on the upper floor of the guesthouse. The equipment of the rooms includes a TV with cable reception, a refrigerator, air conditioning and a bathroom with a shower and a toilet. You can enjoy beautiful views from the balcony. During your stay you can use free WiFi internet connection.

Part of the pension is a restaurant with a fireplace, where you can choose from various specialties. A spacious terrace with umbrellas as well as a gazebo offers pleasant seating. For children, there is a children's corner with a house, a swing and various toys by the terrace. During hot days, you can refresh yourself with a delicious drink from the bar. A meeting room with a capacity of 50 people is also available at the Pension Modrá Ryba.

You can park your car in the adjacent parking lot.

The guest house is a great starting point for hiking along the marked trails in the Kováčske hills. After a day spent hiking, you can visit the thermal swimming pool Vadaš in Štúrov. Lovers of cultural monuments can visit the Basilica in Ostrihom or the City Museum and City Gallery in Štúrovo.
