Pension Podzámok is situated on the outskirts of Spišské Podhradie, under the castle of Spišský hrad. It is offering double or quadruple rooms with private or shared bathrooms. Each room includes a TV, a radio and a kettle. A fridge is also provided in the rooms which are equipped with bathroom. Other rooms have a shared refrigerator on the corridor.

Guests can dine directly in the pension. Part of the property includes a dining room, a bar, a winter garden, and a room with a fireplace and a nice view of the Spiš Castle. Guests will also enjoy a pleasant sitting on the summer terrace. A summer pool and barbecue facilities are available.

Free parking is provided in the enclosed courtyard of the guest house.

Výhľad na hrad
Negatives:
Úplne súhlasím s predchádzajúcimi hodnoteniami. Úplná katastrofa. Izby smrad a vlhko, toalety a sprcha na veľmi veľmi nízkej úrovni. Nie izby ale pivnice. Obsluha pomalá. Terasu sme zdieľali s piatimi mačkami a plno múch. Bazén špinavý. Za chatkou ovce, kôň a chovný holubník asi s 200 holubmi. Po tomto zážitku sme mali chuť volať kontrolu a hlavne hygienu. Nikdy viac !!!

Izby čisté, kvalita stravy dobrá. Iba treba
personál presvedčiť o tom, že 12-ka pivo sa podáva chladené. Prezentovanú 10% zľavu za stravu poskytnú až po vyžiadaní. A v nedeľu sme sa k obedu zbytočne unúvali - tabuľka o zatvorení nás prinútila vyhľadať služby u konkurenice.
Negatives:
Hodnotím izby č. 13 a 16 (poschodie, izby č. 1-30) :
- izby s obmedzeným priestorom, jedna dvojlôžková izba s jedným nočným stolčekom bez stola a stoličiek, druhá bez nočných stolčekov a so študentským ministolom 50x100. Vyťahovacia "bezpečnostná" el. zásuvka nad umývadlom. TV s 2-3 programami.
- Kúpeľňa na šírku sprchovacieho kútu s vytrhnutou spodnou vodiacou lištou. Vzhľadom na minipriestor pri umývaní zubov v kúpeľni (11 ročné dieťa) treba zadné partie vysunúť do minichodby. Kúpeľňa i WC bez ventilátora - vlhké priestory.
- Interiér na veľmi slabej úrovni.
- Kuchyňa na chodbe - bez dresu, vody, útierky, hubky. Riad možno umývať iba v kúpeľni alebo na izbe a utrieť...? Vybavenie kuchyne mizerné - bez noža, 5 šálok z dvoch sád, 2 šálky z obytými okrajmi...
- Cena 12.- € za noc a lôžku na noc je neprimeraný. Za uvedenú cenu v turisticky frekventovanejších oblastiach sú ubytovania na výrazne vyššej úrovni.
- Aspoň táto časť absolútne nespĺňa povinný štandart ubytovacieho zariadenia a je zrelá na kontrolu!
Záver : Penzión PODZÁMOK si určite nikdy viac nevyberieme!

Priamo pod hradom - nie je to ďaleko na hrad.
Negatives:
Cena vôbec nie je úmerná poskytovanej službe.
Pri príchode na chodbe smrad ( zle vetrané spoločné toalety).
V izbe so sociálnym zariadením - sociálne zariadenie na slabej úrovni od požadovanej sumy.
Koberce mi tak isto prišli nedostatočne čiste.
