Benedictine monastery in Hronský Beňadik consists of a set of fortified sacral buildings in the village Hronský Beňadik in the district of Žarnovica in Banská Bystrica region. Breznica Castle ruins are located on the Hill Hrádok, southeast of the village Tekovská Breznica. It is bounded with Chválenska valley from the north and Priesilska Valley from the south. Location allowed viewing of the historic "Slovak Gate" the Abbey in Hronský Beňadik and on the 7 km distant Nová Baňa.

Town castle Kremnica is the complex of buildings built and fortified in 13th - 15th century. The building of St. Katharine Church is dominant; it was built in Gothic style. In present time the castle is the residence of Coin and Medal Museum. St. Francis riding area is situated in the mountain surroundings of the Vtáčnik mountain range, near the town Žarnovica and the village of Horné Hámre. The château was built in the second half of the 13th century originally as the château of Tekov Borough. It was rebuilt several times. After 1542 if was changed into army anti-Turkish fortress. Žiar minizoo is located in the town of Žiar nad Hronom in Štefan Moyzes Park. Several species of animals live in the area. Here you can see donkeys, ponies, kangaroos, ostriches, sheep, goats, pigs and rabbits. Minizoo in 2011 and is a popular place for families with children. Entrance to the Žiarská minizoo is free. Feeding animals is prohibited. Kangaroos were the first animals that came to the minizoo. Pigs, sheep and goats as well as Cameroonian sheep were added later.
