The town of Sklené Teplice lies in the north-western part of Štiavnické hills, in the valley of the Teplá stream, in the Žiar nad Hronom region, in the Banskobystrický district. On the territory of the village there are thermal springs welling forth with the temperature of the water 28-53°C.
