Curative mineral water springs of Ganovce Spa were mentioned for the first time in 1549. One of the oldest spas in Slovakia is situated under the High Tatras Mountains, 5 km from the town of Poprad.

Aqua Spa Gánovce was in 2010 restored and re-opened. Its mineral water is known primarily for the treatment of skin problems, musculoskeletal disorders, post-operative conditions, digestive problems, rheumatism and diabetes.

Water is also recommended in case of gastric acid and in diseases of the urinary tract. It was used also for drinking treatment.

The spa comes with a variety of relaxing and healing mineral baths, wraps and massages. The outer part of the complex features 3 pools:

  • Pool of size 5 x15m with mineral water (25°C, water gargoyles, water depth 120-140 cm)
  • Sitting pool with a magnesium salt (depth of 1 m, temperature 35°C - 37°C)
  • Small pool (35 °C - 37 °C, the depth of 0.1 m to 0.5 m)

v AQUA SPA Gánovce troška si oddýchnuť.Bola som veľmi milo prekvapená prostredím, čistotou, ochotou personálu, službami na úrovni. Ani sa mi nechcelo veriť, že som na Slovensku. A pán majiteľ bol vždy a všade usmiaty, ochotný pomôcť a urobiť poriadok ak to bolo nutné.

Možnosť kúpať sa v bazéne 24 hodín denne, príjemné čisté a tiché prostredie, profesionálne prevádzané masáže a procedúry, ochota personálu.
Negatives:
Pre cudzinca je ťažké nájsť Aqua Spa, celý komplex je trochu vzdialený od hlavných trás. Ale niekomu zas presne toto vyhovuje...
