Smižany - tourist attractions

Sokolia Valley, interesting also because it is the largest waterfall (75 meters high Veil Waterfall), the Slovak Paradise, is also called the wildest distress of this national park. The Kláštorská gorge was created by a stream that springs near the Kláštorisko and flows into the Hornád river. Church of St. James in Levoča, originally in gothic style, is the second largest church in Slovakia, national monument and a building of a particular art-historical significance. The church and monastery buildings complex in Levoča was built between 1748 -1755 on the site of the oldest Levoča church, which was demolished in 1747 after a fire.
