Tourist and recreation resort Podlesok located in the north-western part of the Slovak Paradise National Park can be found about 2 km from the municipalities Hrabusice and Betlanovce. It lies at an altitude of 550 meters and it has good access by car on asphalt road. The vicinity of the area is ideal for hiking and cycling with less or more demanding cycle routes. Podlesok is a good starting point for walks to the gorges of Slovak Paradise, as Sucha Bela, Hornad Canyon, Velky Sokol (Big Falcon), Piecky or Tomasovsky View or to historical Klastorisko. A popular hiking trail leads to the Velka Biela Voda Valley (Great White-Water), a further even to the water reservoir Palcmanska Masa or to the Dobsinska Ice Cave.
