Autocamp PODLESOK - Cottage settlement

Autocamping Podlesok is located in the northwestern part of Slovak Paradise National Park, 2 km from the village of Hrabušice and 18 km from Spišská Nová Ves. This cottage settlement can be found in the Podlesok tourist center at an altitude of 542 meters above sea level. The campsite is an ideal starting point for hiking to the gorges Suchá Belá, Prielom Hornádu, Piecky, Veľký Sokol, Sokolia dolina and Kyseľ, or to Tomášovský Viewpoint. Near the campsite there is the entrance to the most famous and most visited gorge of Slovak Paradise – Suchá Belá.

Autocamping Podlesok offers 2 types of cottages.

Cottage layout:

All cottages have their own private shower and toilet.

Cottage Javorina CLASSIC (5 persons)

A 5-bed older-style cottage with renovated interior, equipped with an electric kettle, without a kitchenette or dishes. On the ground floor there is a table, chairs, new sanitary facilities and a small terrace at the entrance overlooking the campsite. Upstairs there are 3 separate beds in one room. Electric heating and clean bed linen are included. The cottage is available approximately from mid-April to mid-November.

Cottage Javorina COMFORT (6–8 persons)

The cottage has a ground floor and an upper floor. On the ground floor in the hall there is a sofa bed (2 extra beds possible), a table with 6 chairs, a shower with toilet, a kitchenette with kitchenware, plates, glasses, fridge, electric kettle and double hotplate. Upstairs there are 2 separate rooms, each with 3 beds and bedside tables. Clean bed linen and towels are provided. The cottage is heated by electric radiators and has several power outlets. Available all year round.

At the reception, guests can rent e-bikes, badminton equipment, table tennis equipment, balls, roasting sticks, a grill, and via ferrata sets. The reception also sells drinks, sweets, hygiene products, firewood and tickets for the Kyseľ Via Ferrata.

There is also a grocery store in the area, open only during the main summer season (May–September). Several small restaurants and snack bars are located nearby. In the nearby village of Hrabušice, the restaurant U Hudáka is open daily. During the main season, a coffee vending machine and beer vending machine are available in the campsite area.

Access to the campsite area through the barrier system is via a chip card issued at reception. The card is non-transferable.
