Originally Gothic castle from the 14th century towers of the high steep conic hill. It was rebuilt into a fort in Renaissance style, later on into presentable residence of nobility. This chateau is a dominant object of Betliar village, which is located 10 kilometres on the North of the district town of Roznava.
