Pohoda is an art festival, which takes place in the second weekend of July in Trencin, at the airport. The summer swimming pool on Ostrov in Trenčín welcomed its first visitors on Monday, June 19 at 9 a.m. The complex offers 4 pools - recreational (1,400 m2), swimming (425 m2), children's (282 m2) and splash pool with water slides (778 m2). The Beckov castle was built in the 12th century as a part of border fortification of Hungarian Empire. The castle flourished in the 14 - 15th century, later became shabby. The historical and archaeological research was carried out in the 70s of the 20th century. After the reconstruction in 1996 the ruins of the castle were strengthened and open for the public.
