Dolná Krupá is situated 11 km north from the district town of Trnava, approx. 60 km from the capital city of SR Bratislava. The Classicistic castle from 1793-95 was last reconstructed in 1820-1821 based on the project of A.P.Rigel. The four slim pillars and the tympanum – these are the main identification signs of the building. Today, it belongs among the most beautiful examples of the provincial Classicistic architecture in Slovakia.
