The most important monument on the principal  square in Bardejov  inscribed in  the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage, is the parish church of St Egidius standing in its northern part. On the UNESCO-listed Town Square in Bardejov stands the remarkable Gantzaugh House. This Renaissance burgher’s house from the 16th century once belonged to the influential Gantzaugh family and is notable for its decorated façade, stone portals, and well-preserved architectural details.
