Chalet Majlathova chata

Majláthova cottage is located in the immediate vicinity of the Mountain Hotel Popradské Pleso in the Mengusovská valley at an altitude of 1500 m above sea level.

In the cottage you will find clean and comfortable hotel accommodation and rooms with lake and mountain views. Each room has a bathroom with shower, toilet and satellite TV. A duvet, pillow, bed linen and a blanket are a matter of course.

The cottage has no WiFi signal and no cars, so be sure to turn it off here - we recommend that you leave all your worries at Štrbské Pleso.

The total accommodation capacity is for 15 people in four rooms:

• 2 quadruple rooms
• 1 double bedroom
• 1 five-bedded room - tourist

Exit to the cottage is only possible on foot, there is a strict ban on entering the national park by car !!!
You can park at the Vila Emma Pension in Štrbské Pleso, in the free parking lot guarded by a camera system (valid only for guests staying, you must check in at the reception).

• 4 km walk from the tram stop Popradské pleso (asphalt road)
• 5.4 km on foot from Štrbské Pleso train station (footpath)

For less able guests, the export to the cottage is provided: due to the closure of the road in the highest level of nature protection of the Tatra National Park, it is possible only in the allotted time:

• Only twice a day, exactly at 7.30 in the morning and at 18.00 in the afternoon
• Advance reservations are required

Transport of guests from Majláthova chalet down

• Only once a day at 9:00 am
• 1 - 3 persons 15 € / 1 route

• for a late departure from the room after 9 o'clock there is a fee of 25 € / person.

In the restaurant you can have traditional Slovak and international cuisine.
An array of activities can be enjoyed on site or in the surroundings, including skiing, cycling, hiking, climbing, ski mountaineering and other alpine activities.
The nearest ski lift is at Štrbské Pleso, 5 km away.
