Hotel SLIEZSKY DOM

The Sliezsky Dom mountain hotel with a unique location directly below the Gerlach peak, stands at 1670 meters above sea level, making it the highest situated hotel in Slovakia. It is a popular starting point for challenging hikes and easy walks in the High Tatras.

The hotel offers a wellness center, a terrace restaurant and accommodation in 43 modern rooms with stunning mountain views, steep Tatra peaks and the surrounding natural scenery.

All rooms are equipped with a private bathroom with bath or shower, mini bar, telephone, safe, hairdryer and flat-screen TV. Free WiFi is available in each room.

There are standard double rooms, a wheelchair accessible room for disabled guests, as well as Classic and Deluxe suites that will provide you with generous space and stylish facilities.

Deluxe apartment with three fixed beds and two extra beds is suitable for a family with children. You can also choose the Deluxe + Duplex Apartment, which can accommodate up to 6 people.

There are 2 comprehensive training rooms available for corporate events at the hotel. For families with small children there is a cot, a chair, a changing table, a small children's corner at the reception. Baby custody is also available.

The highest situated wellness center in Slovakia provides you with a perfect rest to gain new strength. Here you will find a private jacuzzi, a wide selection of massage treatments, a Finnish sauna and a steam bath. You can relax in a relaxing room with a capacity of 6 people and an unforgettable view of Velické pleso and the Eternal Rainfall.

Parking Information (Year 2025):
The mountain hotel Sliezsky dom is located in a protected zone of the Tatra National Park, so the capacity of paid parking spaces in front of the hotel is limited and parking must be confirmed in advance.
If guests are interested in parking directly at the hotel, they will need a permit to enter the TANAP National Park, which we can issue for a fee of €30 / car / night. The vehicle’s license plate number must be provided in advance.
Only one drive up to the hotel and one drive down at the end of the stay is allowed — driving during the stay is not permitted.

Guests can also park at the public car park in Tatranská Polianka (TANAP car park, fee €15/day), from where we provide hotel transport between 8:00 and 20:30.
