This popular thermal spa is called a small Slovak sea. Its thermal water is salty and has miraculous healthy effects to rheumatism, arthritis, back pains, joints diseases, vascular system, eczemas, diseases of bronchial tube and respiratory system. It contains sulphates, lithium, iodides, bromides, calcium compounds and beneficially affects to after-treatment procedures of fractures, reduces pains and stimulates thyroid gland.
At the present there are 7 swimming pools - two sports ones, two big ones and one sitz, one children's and one toboggan pool. The water temperature at the bottom of the spew is 83°C, in sitz pool it is 33°C, and in wintertime it is minimum 36°C. Recreation area of the centre offers relaxation and rest on 12 hectares where apart from the swimming pools you can find sport centre (volleyball ground, beach volleyball ground, and so on), natural hidden places to rest and sunbathe, interesting sculptures, which are placed directly in the spa and are very liked by visitors from Slovakia as well from abroad.
