Hotel Altenberg is located in the middle of Stare Hory (Old Mountain village), lying in central Slovakia, near Banska Bystrica. In winter you can visit the nearest ski slopes of the Ski Turecka less than a 3 km or choose the popular Donovaly Resort, situated 11 km to the northeast.
Hotel features double rooms, which are either twin beds or a double bed. On room you will find television with satellite channels, safe and telephone. Every room has a private bathroom with hairdryer. Beds are equipped with hypoallergenic mattresses. Room entrance is solved by the card system. You can use also internet connection in rooms. Some have the option of adding extra beds.
Hotel has two restaurants, a café and pizzeria. You can relax in the spa area with Finnish sauna, steam bath, cooling pool and relaxation room. There is also massage service. The hotel also has two meeting rooms with a capacity of 30 and 15 seats where you can arrange business meetings.
