Záruby Resort

Recreation center Záruby - Jahodník is situated in a forest in the protected area of the Little Carpathians near the village of Smolenice. The resort is suitable for group stays, such as children's recreation or school trips, but also for social events or individual stays throughout the year.

The surrounding area provides excellent conditions for hiking in the Little Carpathians along the marked hiking trails leading to the highest peak of Záruby from where you can enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding castles and ruins. In the resort you can visit the Driny cave and nearby you will find the Buková and Boleráz water reservoirs.

- 2-storey cottages; one double bed on the ground floor and up to 4 beds on the upper floor

The comfortable cottages have recently been painted in attractive light colors. Enjoy the comfort of brand new beds and mattresses. Feel free to use the new kitchen to prepare delicious meals for the whole family, or just relax in the cozy living room while the beautiful tones of nature come through the window.

With two floors in the cottage there is more than enough space and privacy for the whole family. Enjoy peace and quiet from your own terrace while your children explore the surroundings outside. Use one of our board or outdoor games and enjoy quality time with your family. There are no TVs or other modern-time entertainment in Zaruby Resort; it's about quality family time and reconnecting!

With the new kitchen in your cottage, you have a choice of anything; make a pleasant family dinner in the kitchen, grill on our raclette set or grill on an external grill or cook your own goulash, or you can choose to roast traditional Slovak bacon on an outdoor fireplace. Whatever you choose, you will know that you not only have delicious food, but also an amazing experience. Take a hike to the local grocery store, or order food from some of our cooking packages on offer from fresh, honest, local ingredients, and you don't even have to go to the store.

Cottage Standard

Maximum capacity up to 6 people - about 35 m2 - detached - many hours of sunshine - two-storey cottage - private bathroom.

Standard cottages with two separate sleeping areas offer plenty of privacy for couples, mixed groups or families. You will probably spend most of your time outdoors, but during a cold night you can stay indoors and play games at the table or sit outside on the veranda with a warm blanket and watch the stars. There are no TVs or other modern-time entertainment in Zaruby Resort; it's all about being outside and being active!

Private bathroom and comfortable beds; our standard cottages have everything you need to enjoy the simple joys of life. Thanks to its location, you can enjoy many hours of sunshine, from dusk to dawn and experience one of the most beautiful views that Zaruby Resort offers right from the door of your cottage.

Basic Cottage (Only for groups with at least 20 people)

Maximum capacity from 6 to 8 people - group accommodation - detached - storey cottage - private bathroom.

Private bathroom, new mattresses and spacious rooms; our basic wooden cottages offer everything you need for a pleasant group stay. There are no TVs or other modern entertainment in Zaruby Resort; It's all about being outside and spending time together!

The cottages have a separate room for the leader or teacher.

In the restaurant we offer simple, but delicious, freshly prepared dishes by our chef Katka for groups with 20 or more people.
