Cottage MAGURKA

Magurka Cottage is set in the beautiful surroundings of the Low Tatras and can be found at the end of Ľupčianska valley in the village Magurka, which is located at an altitude of 1050 meters.

The total accommodation capacity of the cottage is 50 persons. You can stay in the guest rooms of the guest house standard with private bathroom and toilet, as well as the ground floor rooms, which offer a tourist standard, are equipped with bunk beds and have shared bathroom facilities in the hallway. Rooms and rooms on the ground floor have wheelchair access, so that the cottage can make a trip to the wheelchair.

The cottage on the ground floor has a bar and a restaurant with free WiFi. In addition, guests have a sauna and the possibility of renting a wooden tub with heated water (37 to 41 degrees), which will guarantee a perfect experience of relaxation, especially during winter evenings. There is a charge for renting vats and the reservation must be announced in advance.

Magurka is the highest settlement under the ridges of the Low Tatras. Above it rises the hills Ďurková, Chabenec and Latiborská hoľa, which have a height of 1648 to 1955 meters above sea level. The nearest surroundings of the cottage offers hiking opportunities on marked hiking trails leading to the main ridge of the Tatras with a beautiful view. In the winter season there are cross-country trails available, for example from Magurka to Liptovská Lúžna or towards Partizánska Ľupča.

During winter, it is recommended to use snow chains and access road from Partizánska Ľupča, which is maintained in winter.
