Vysna Boca is a small village located at the end of the Bocianska valley under saddle Certovica and Rovna Hola at an altitude of 950 m above sea level. This mountain village in Liptov region with excellent opportunities for hiking and biking offers a wide range of spending a perfect holiday or a weekend stay.

The village is an excellent starting point for several hiking trails to the Low Tatras. In its vicinity there are good conditions for alpine skiing. Nearby there are water parks and thermal pools including Tatralandia next to Liptovsky Mikulas, Thermal park Gino Paradise in Besenova, and thermal waters at the mouth of Janska Valley near the village of Liptovsky Jan. In summer you can swim in the dam of Liptovska Mara where you can engage in other sports activities. In winter there are opportunities for downhill and cross-country skiing. Tourism in Vysna Boca is well developed thanks to the Ski resort Bacova Roven directly in the village as well as the ones in vicinity. The ski area has 3 slopes with appropriate levels of difficulty for each skier. The nearest ski resosts can be found also in the saddle Certovica as well as in the village of Myto pod Dumbierom.
