Tale
Resort Tale, interesting by tourists throughout the year, as it has a lot to offer in summer and in winter, belongs undoubtedly among the most popular places that are in Horehronie with a favour visited. It lies in the Low Tatras, south of the main ridge, in the western part of Bystrianska valley, and at the altitude that ranges from 580 m to 860 m.

Free time at Tale can be spent by swimming in lake at the hotels, horseback riding, archery and other possible activities.
Tale is attractive not only in summer but also in winter, during which become a popular place for skiers and for all who are looking for winter holiday entertainment in the form of winter sports. Ski resort Tale belongs among the best resorts in Slovakia and offers slopes for all skiers, whether he's a beginner or advanced, whether he wants to ski or have some fun by some attraction. Other ski slopes around the village are offered in Myto pod Dumbierom village and in tourist resort Jasna at the foot of the hill Chopok, belonging to the most attractive tourist destination in Slovakia. Not-demanding skiers will be satisfied on the slopes in the nearby recreation centre Krpáčovo.
