Stropkov, zOO & Botanical Gardens

Zoo Park is located in the centre of the town Stropkov in eastern Slovakia. It is an interesting, attractive and above all cultural - educational establishment of Stropkov. It was created in 1984 when a station for young naturalists was built from the initiative of children and parents. It was later renamed as Zoo. Zoo Park features lots of animals in 40 aviaries. Its location in the middle of the city offers residents and visitors throughout the year opportunity for distraction, recovery, relaxing after a daily work and leisure time for children and adults in the nature.
