Nove Mesto nad Vahom is a district town and it is a part of Trencin region. The historical heart of Nove Mesto nad Vahom hides the traces of one of the oldest towns on the territory of Slovakia. Even at present times is the middle of the town decorated by Sculpture of St.Mary, the stone statue of Madonna on a high pole from 1696. Nove Mesto nad Vahom will attract the visitors not only with its historical memories that can be found in the town itself, but also with its surroundings. The most famous memories located around Nove Mesto nad Vahom are: Cachticky castle, Beckov castle, Tematin castle – one of the highest located castles in Slovakia.
Nove Mesto nad Vahom, as well as its neighbourhood, offers a lot of places for summer tourism. In the surroundings there is a rather stiff system of tourism paths leading through the mountains of the White Carpathians, Small Carpathians and Povazsky Inovec. Nearby Nove Mesto nad Vahom is the famous recreational resort Zelena Voda with natural water area, where the visitors can find accommodation. Also the town itself offers a few accommodation facilities.
