Flysch Levoca Mountains can be found in eastern Slovakia in the northern part of the territory of the region Spis. It is situated north of Levoca and its northern foothills extend to the town of Stara Lubovna. It consists of a massive, relatively hardly accessible ridge covered with spruce forests, hills which amount to over 1,200 meters above sea level. Levoca Hills are characterized by lower rainfall, due to the rain shadow, creating by a ridge of the High Tatras. The mountain range borders with Spisska Magura in the north, Branisko and Bachuren lie eastward and to the south there is Hornad Basin and toward west there can be seen Under-Tatra Basin.

In recent past a big part of the mountains was unavailable due to established military districts. Trails will lead visitors to the alpine meadows and in deep forests. They can admire the untouched nature and learn about this little-know tourist region. In its area there are also ski opportunities that can be found mainly around the town of Levoca in the Levoca valley.
