Recreational resort Jasna - Chopok with an accommodation for everyone, is located in the Low Tatras, at the end of Demänovska valley and may become your perfect holiday location. The resort lies on both sides of Chopok - one of the highest peaks of Low Tatras. On its slopes, there are laying tracks of the largest ski resort in Slovakia – Ski Jasna.

The only problem may be the full capacity by the most sought after accommodations during periods like Christmas, New Year or Easter, so you better book accommodation in advance.

The centre of the resort is on the northern side of Chopok in Demänovska valley, where you can enjoy comfortable accommodation right next to the lift or near the tourist attractions. Demanovska valley is the epicentre of the scene of most of the activities that Jasna offers to its visitors. Here you will also find most hotels and other properties as cosy guesthouses or small cottages. Various categories of the hotels include a wellness hotel, but also a cheap hotel for undemanding tourists or school trips as well as ski trips. If you want to go there as a group of friends or family and looking for chalets, you will be pleased by the offer of bungalows and secluded cottage in the woods, where you will have privacy. Beautiful pensions providing a place of comfort and relaxation during your holidays are scattered throughout the Demanovska valley.

You can also stay in other locations around tha Jasna resort where we could mention the village Pavcina Lehota, which is right at the beginning of Demanovska valley or village Demanova, which is a borough of Liptovsky Mikulas. This may be another option where to stay, as the town offers several hotels and guest houses. Its centre is 15 km away from the ski resort Jasna.

If you will prefer the southern part of Chopok, right on its slope, there is some accommodation. Other hotels, lodges and guesthouses can be found in the recreation centre Tale (7 km) in the surrounding village Bystra (9 km) or in the town of Brezno (19 km).
