Cingov is one of the oldest and best known tourist resorts in the Slovak Paradise. Tourists will find accommodation in a wooded area near the river Hornad. The resort is located in the northeastern part of the national park in the extended part of the valley of Hornad Rupture (Prielom Hornadu). It is 2.5 km from the centre of Smizany and 6 km from the town Spisska Nova Ves. Along with the tourist centre Podlesok, the Cingov belongs among the most popular sites on the north side of the Slovak Paradise.

Offering a beautiful view of the Hornad Canyon from a height, the nearby Tomas' view (Tomášovský výhľad), also called rock gallery, is a popular place for rock climbing. You can visit aother interesting sites. The Falcon Valley (Sokolia dolina) is a wild gorge with waterfalls, and Hradisko is an archaeological site which is right at the centre on a small hill. One interesting nature trail, 15 km long, leads through the Cingov resort.
