Vila Marína

Vila Marína, a former spa house with ritch history, offers accommodation in five above-standard furnished apartments. Vila Marína can be found at Štrbské Pleso, right by the lake at the foot of the High Tatras. The villa is named after one of the most beautiful love poems in the world, the author of which is most famous slovak romantic poet Andrej Sládkovič. Apartments with a view of the High Tatras and a bed capacity for 20 people are luxuriously furnished and are also suitable for demanding clients. They can be adapted to accommodate 2 to 4 people, making them suitable for couples as well as families with children.

Apartment equipment:

• Each apartment has a bedroom with a double bed.
• Spacious living room with sofa bed, flat-screen TV and satellite channels.
• Fully equipped kitchen (electrical appliances - ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, refrigerator with freezer), including dining area.
• For your comfort, each apartment has a private bathroom with a hydromassage bath, bidet and toilet.

After a long day spent in the healthy Tatra air, hiking, sightseeing, or skiing in one of the surrounding ski resorts, you can sit in a relaxation room with a tea room, have a hot drink, read a book. The accommodation complex also includes a ski and bicycle storage room.

Thanks to support from the European Union, the historic villa was renovated between 2014 and 2015, and from a national cultural monument dating from 1892 under the name - "Spa House Marina", it became an apartment house with year-round use. Thus, the specific goal of the implementation of the project "Reconstruction and transformation of the national cultural monument Marina into a tourism facility" was fulfilled.

Its excellent location near the Hotel Solisko and near the shores of Lake Štrbské Pleso make it a perfect romantic stay in summer and winter. Whether it's unique walks in the beautiful countryside around the lake, alpine hikes, for example to the 25 m high waterfall Skok in Mlynická dolina, or to Popradské Pleso, cycling, boating on the lake, or the opportunity to take a chairlift to Solisko. In the winter season, there are well-groomed ski slopes and cross-country trails in the SNOW Štrbské Pleso.
